Mission Advocacy, Racial Justice, and Reconciliation Retreat
August 9-11, 2024 | Trinity Retreat Center
Come pray, reflect, and consider your unique gifts for mission advocacy, racial justice, and reconciliation. By means of deep reflection, unlearn the norms of white supremacy culture, and untether from principalities and powers. You will also explore how rest can enable the theological imagination to move from simply professing faith to embodying it. See how God is calling you to a deeper level of spiritual commitment to love and serve the Lord.
Led by the Rev. Cn. Ranjit K. Mathews.

Create Your Life. Write from the Soul Retreat
"Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can’t remember who we are or why we’re here." — Sue Monk Kidd
All of us have stories to tell. The most compelling are those written from the heart, the ones that move us and sometimes transform both writer and reader. This retreat will provide a quiet environment to work on a current writing project, begin stories long thought about, or simply immerse in silence to discover what needs to be voiced.
Led by Anne A. Simpkinson.
Gathering the Harvest: Body, Mind, and Spirit Retreat
Join the retreat center’s culinary staff during the harvest for three days of farm-to-table wellness and renewal. Spend time in silent, contemplative harvesting on the retreat center’s farm, taking mindful walks along the Housatonic River, and gathering for simple, healthy meals around a common table. This retreat will focus on the mind-body connection and how to improve our spiritual well-being through outdoor activities, prayer, and the simple joy of seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Led by Julia Phillips.
Peacebuilding & Presence for Young Adults
A retreat with the Rose Castle Foundation
Feeling anxious about the upcoming election and divisions within our country, communities, and families? Develop the skills and resilience to disagree well and navigate challenging conversations while connecting with fellow young adult Christians in NYC. At this two-day retreat, facilitators from the Rose Castle Foundation will show us how we become peacebuilders by being present with one another and with God. Together, we’ll create space for worship and fellowship amid political discord and reflect on what it means to be Christians in this moment. Open to young adults ages 18–40. For questions, reach out to the Faith Formation & Education team at AdultEducation@trinitywallstreet.org.

Rest, Reconnect, and Listen: Discernment for Deeper Living Silent Retreat
This is a silent retreat and is ideal for clergy and lay professionals seeking to deepen their spiritual practice.
Are you going through a major life change? Looking for a new path? Need time for quiet contemplation? Come spend time in silence — praying, reading, writing, and walking in nature. Using poetry, scripture, prayer, and journaling, participants will engage in intentional reflections on life and vocation. Space is limited to six individuals.
Led by the Rev. Dr. Mark Francisco Bozzuti-Jones.
Spiritual Work with the Enneagram: Going Deeper Retreat
Who are you called to become? Most Enneagram workshops focus primarily on the personality, or what Richard Rohr calls “the false self.” Through teaching, meditation, and experiential exercises, this retreat takes us beyond the Enneagram of personality and offers a glimpse into how God’s wisdom is truly written in our hearts.
Participant Preparation: It is highly recommended that participants attend the Your Spiritual Work with the Enneagram retreat or other workshops on the Enneagram.
Led by the Rev. Michelle Meech.

To Love as God Loves: Jesuit and Ignatian Prayer Retreat
Jesuits believe that retreats, prayers, spiritual direction, and spiritual conversation are ways to grow in relationship with God. Join us for a weekend of guided prayer drawn from “The Spiritual Exercises” by St. Ignatius of Loyola, the prayer that includes examining, meditating, contemplating, and imagining. As St. Ignatius writes, “Just as strolling, walking, and running are bodily exercises, so every way of preparing and disposing the soul…to seek the Divine Will…is called a spiritual exercise.”
Led by the Rev. William Campbell, S.J.

Thanksgiving Retreat
Prayer, worship, and community reflection punctuate our late-autumn days together in the New England woods. While the centerpiece of this retreat week is the farm-to-table, family-style Thanksgiving meal, every day is a celebration, with activities and time to reflect on our blessings. Individuals and families are welcome.
Led by the Rev. Dr. Mark Francisco Bozzuti-Jones.
