Trinity Church Wall Street’s commitment to music dates back more than three centuries, and this summer is a great time for you to join that history. Three of Trinity’s volunteer choral ensembles are holding auditions during the summer months.
Downtown Voices, a semiprofessional choir, includes volunteers with a higher level of music background who sing with members of The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, the parish’s professional ensemble. Downtown Voices presents several concerts a year, most recently Lux Aeterna in April. Members of Downtown Voices rehearse on Wednesdays. Learn more and schedule an audition.
St. Paul’s Chapel Choir includes volunteers, people who love to sing and want to be part of a warm and welcoming community. St. Paul’s Chapel Choir sings every month at worship services at Trinity, and rehearses Thursdays. Learn more and schedule an audition.
Members of Trinity Youth Chorus range in age from 5 to 18. Trinity musicians provide these young people with individual and group training in vocal technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills. Depending on age, there are opportunities for musical leadership at Sunday services at Trinity and, on occasion, members of the Trinity Youth Chorus perform with The Choir of Trinity Wall Street.
