Comfort at One: Downtown Voices

Under the leadership of Stephen Sands, Downtown Voices has been working closely with renowned pedagogue Dr. Donald Dumpson and the Philadelphia Heritage Chorale for the past few months. These groups have collaborated online weekly, improving musicianship skills and learning repertoire from the African diaspora, while also having discussions about spirituality, racial justice, and pandemic life.
