Q. How do I know if my organization is qualified for funding?
A. Please review the program descriptions of the Housing and Homelessness, Racial Justice, Mission Real Estate Development, and Leadership Development initiatives to evaluate your organization’s eligibility and grant request alignment with the initiative priorities.
Q. How does my organization apply for a grant?
A. To apply, please complete the eligibility quiz for your organization by clicking on the link to our grantee portal: https://tws.fluxx.io/
If your organization is eligible, you will receive an email with instructions to register with our online grant platform, Fluxx. Once you complete the registration process and the information you have provided has been reviewed and approved by staff, you will receive an email inviting you to submit a Letter of Inquiry.

Q. How often do you accept grant inquiries?
A. We accept Letters of Inquiry on a rolling basis, with staff review of inquiries twice a year.

Q. What happens after I submit my Letter of Inquiry?
A. You will receive an email to acknowledge receipt of your Letter of Inquiry (LOI). The Philanthropies team will review your LOI and determine if it aligns with program guidelines. If there appears to be a potential match, you will be invited to submit a full application. Due to limits on the amount of available grant funding in any one year, we must regretfully decline some applications that are for worthy projects and that also fit within our guidelines.
Q. Does a potential grantee have to be affiliated with the Anglican/Episcopal Church?
U.S. applicants are not required to have an existing affiliation with the Episcopal Church, but they must be registered as a 501 (c)(3) or 501 (c)(4) tax-exempt organization or have a fiscal sponsor. If you are not a 501(c)(3) or 501 (c)(4) tax-exempt organization and need to identify a fiscal sponsor, we recommend referring to the NYPLI Fiscal Sponsorship Guide for guidance. Internationally, Trinity Church provides grants to dioceses, provinces, and seminaries within the Anglican Communion.

A. Trinity does not fund individuals or consider applications for scholarships from individuals.
Q. What is the maximum funding amount?
A. Our grants vary in size but typically range between $75,000 and $350,000. The amount requested should correspond to a realistic assessment of the cost of the program or organizational need.
