Sunday Sermon, The Rt. Rev. David E. Bailey: "Choosing Hope"

“We're experiencing the same things in Navajoland that you are experiencing,” preached the Rt. Rev. David E. Bailey, Bishop of Navajoland. “It’s a time in our country of unrest. Every day, if not hour, we’re bombarded with negativity, misinformation, and mean-spiritedness. If we’re not careful, it can cause us to turn to fear and trepidation.” But we all also have a choice, he noted, to react with hope, patience, understanding, and humility - just as Jesus did. When we bring love to the table, one day at a time, we don’t just change the way we live, but the world in which we live.
