Sunday Sermon, The Rt. Rev. Andrew ML Dietsche, "What Makes a Saint?"

Saints are human, just like us, preached the Rt. Rev. Andrew ML Dietsche this morning at Trinity. Because their stories are often complicated, violent, and fictionalized, we might find it difficult to honor this “wild and woolly bunch” every year on All Saints’ Day. But rather than dismiss them for seeming less than “holy,” Bishop Dietsche urges us to look at what unites these imperfect men and women: their devotion to leading others during some of the most dangerous and difficult times “to new days, new expectations, and new possibilities” through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
