"When two or three are gathered together in the name of Jesus, Jesus will be among us," said the Rev. Michael A. Bird, preaching in Trinity Church about what he calls the Law of Grace. "We have been given a blueprint, a pathway on how we hold this community together. We can do extraordinary things when we put God at the center."
Whether it's praying at a loved one's bedside, providing 4,500 backpacks full of supplies to schoolchildren, or remembering how our community responded in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, when we come together in love, we will find Jesus in the midst of us.
The readings are Exodus 12:1–14; Psalm 149; Romans 13:8–14; and Matthew 18:15–20. Watch the sermon.
