The story of stained glass-windows dates back more than a millennium and reflects the evolution of ecclesiastical architecture and Christian thought. We invite you take a tour of the development of this majestic art form – from the monumental Gothic windows at Chartres Cathedral to the iconoclasm of the Reformation, to the 2022 installation of Trinity’s own striking new widow – and discover why art history professor Dr. Susan Ward suggests there is more than meets the eye.
