The Rev. Dr. James Cooper, Rector of Trinity Wall Street, rang the bell of hope on December 18th in remembrance of those killed this week in the siege of the café in Sydney, and in the attack on the school in Peshawar, Pakistan. A gift from the City of London following the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, the bell is rung in memory of victims of acts of terrorism, wherever they occur.
