Family Service Sermon, The Rev. Sister Promise Atelon, "Being Blessed Means Having a Humble Heart "

Today, as we celebrate Saint Mary, Mother of our Lord, the Rev. Sr. Promise Atelon challenged our notion of being blessed. "Being blessed doesn't mean we have everything we desire in life. It is not based on external conditions or the world's standards. Being blessed is considered as having a humble heart that is open and available to serve God,” said Sr. Promise. Saying yes to God can give us the freedom to overcome difficulty and the blessings that come with serving God.
