Family Service Sermon, The Rev. Sister Promise Atelon, "Children and God’s Mysteries"

"You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants." - Matthew 11:25

In this morning's 9am homily, the Rev. Sr. Promise Atelon recalls a time when God revealed himself to her through a three-year-old child.

"To my surprise he said, 'I want to pray for people I know and people I do not know.' Three years old—think of such a prayer!"

May we learn from him and pray not only for ourselves but also for people we do not know.
