Comfort at One: Mary Lou Williams' Zodiac Suite

For Comfort at One today, we pay homage to one of the greatest voices in jazz, the “Mother of Bebop,” Mary Lou Williams. Earlier this year, pioneering jazz pianist Chris Pattishall released his stunning debut album, a phantasmagorical interpretation of Williams’ Zodiac Suite. Today we present Pattishall’s concert of Zodiac Suite from our 2015 Concerts at One series. Join us as Pattishall and his quintet continue William’s legacy of leading the audience to reimagine their sonic understanding of jazz.
