Although Lower Manhattan may not seem like a community where people are in need, it is; and the pandemic has further exacerbated economic inequalities. With sharp rises in the unemployment rate, the cost of groceries, and the number of people seeking assistance from food pantries and soup kitchens, food insecurity is at an all-time high in New York City.
Trinity remains committed to helping our neighbors in need through advocacy and programs, such as Resource Connections, Compassion Meals, and the Compassion Market. Through our grantmaking, Trinity also supports community partners who are addressing the roots of poverty—a primary reason people need assistance in the first place.
Resource Connections

Trinity’s Outreach team assists guests with accessing housing, legal aid, mental health services, immigration, SNAP benefits, and other services. If you or someone you know would like a helping hand, call 917-594-6300, Monday-Friday, 2-5pm. You can also leave a voicemail anytime or email us at resources@trinitywallstreet.org anytime to receive a reply within 48 hours.

Compassion Meals

Starting April 25, it’s offered throughout the day, six days a week from Monday through Saturday to drop-in guests at Trinity Church (Broadway at Wall Street). See below for the up-to-date calendar.
