"Wait for the Lord, whose day is near. Wait for the Lord; be strong, take heart."
-Song from Taizé

Headshot of The Rev. Sr. Promise Atelon. Sr. Promise wears a white collar, black shirt and jacket, and round glasses. She is smiling, and her dimples are showing in front of a beige wall. Her short, dark hair has some pops of white laced throughout.

Join the Rev. Sr. Promise Atelon, SSM as she explores how we are called to wait on the Lord. In this season of Advent, we await the coming of Christ; however, we are called to wait in faith every day of our lives. Waiting requires that we pay attention to our life of prayer, faith, generous living, repentance, and commitment to taking up our cross daily. Come deepen your desire to wait for the Lord and learn more ways of preparing the way for the Lord.

This free retreat will take place over four half-hour sessions via the Trinity Retreat Center Facebook page throughout the weekend at these times; all times are Eastern. Registration is not required.

  • Saturday 10–10:30am, 2–2:30pm, and 8–8:30pm
  • Sunday 4–4:30pm
