When the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached “Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution” at the National Cathedral on March 31, 1968, nobody could have imagined that it would be his last Sunday sermon.

Join the Rev. Dr. Mark Francisco Bozzuti-Jones, priest and Executive Director for Spiritual Formation at Trinity Retreat Center, as he explores the themes, ideas, and challenges of the sermon “Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution.” How do we stay awake to the challenges of racism, poverty, and militarism today? These five sessions seek to help us continue our commitment to racial justice and a spiritual revolution.

This free retreat will take place over five half-hour sessions via the Trinity Retreat Center Facebook page throughout the weekend at these times; all times are Eastern. Registration is not required.

  • Friday 7–7:30pm
  • Saturday 10–10:30am, 2–2:30pm, and 8–8:30pm
