Peacemaking in a Divided America
Peacemaking is central to Christian practice. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you” (John 14:27). Trinity Church’s “Peacemaking for Our Time” series, a collaboration with Telos Group, features presentations, workshops, and training exploring the importance of peacemaking.
On October 4-5, join Trinity Church and Telos Group in a peacemaking training specifically focused on what peacemaking looks like in a divided America. By centering peacemaking in Christian and spiritual practice, participants will learn more about this effective tool for building community and hope.
This workshop spans two days:
Plenary: Friday, October 4, 6-8:30pm – This program is open to all and focuses on peacemaking principles in a divided America.
Workshop: Saturday, October 5, 8:30am-5pm – This peacemaking workshop will include presentations, personal reflection, the practice of peacemaking skills, conversation and prayer. Those registering for this workshop are strongly encouraged to register and attend the evening plenary on Friday, October 4.
