Lenten Concert: Tuvayhun – Beatitudes for a Wounded World

And yet the world is beautiful and blessed in so many ways.” Trinity’s newly appointed Director of Music, Melissa Attebury, will lead the Trinity Youth Chorus, The Choir of Trinity Wall Street (Pamela Terry, alto; Christopher Dylan Herbert, baritone), and NOVUS NY in a performance of Kim André Arnesen’s Tuvayhun. Taken from the Beatitudes, this work addresses those who might be in need of blessing, with music and texts ancient and new that speak to the universality of our experience.
