For more than 400 years white people have cultivated myths about people of color to create artificial hierarchies. This is America’s original sin of racism, and facing this sin is an essential component of repentance, moving us a step closer to reconciliation.

Dr. Greg Garrett, Baylor University

Join us at Trinity Church for a morning workshop with Dr. Greg Garrett of Baylor University where we will bring to light some of the most hateful racial myths still causing damage within our culture and within the Church, and consider how we might move forward to correct these narratives.

Registration is limited to 50 persons. A light breakfast and box lunch will be provided. Proof of vaccination required; masks will be worn. Every attendee will receive a free copy of Dr. Garrett's book, A Long, Long Way: Hollywood’s Unfinished Journey from Racism to Reconciliation.
