A Table in the Wilderness: Discovering God in Unexpected Places

Explore where God might be at work in your life amidst the busyness, the tasks, the pressures, and the anxieties of the moment. Using the eucharistic liturgy of the Episcopal Church as a launching pad, participants will discover together new ways of listening for God, speaking to God, and receiving God's grace in our lives. This retreat includes contemplative practices such as lectio divina, a modified Ignatian Examen, and journaling. The Rev. Marcus George Halley is the Dean of Formation for the Episcopal Church in Connecticut, priest-in-charge at the Church of the Holy Spirit in West Haven, and the author of Proclaim! Sharing Words, Living Examples, Changing Lives.

This free retreat will take place over five half-hour sessions throughout the weekend at these times, streamed on Facebook Live. Registration is not required.
