Good Shepherd Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Kristin Kaulbach Miles: "Missing the Message"

As we age we tend to respond to the needs of the world more often with a closed mind than a sympathetic heart. Yet Mother Kristin insists there is an essential wisdom in childlike imagination, and a profound possibility in awe. She invites us to open ourselves up to alternative choices and ideas, even – and especially – when faced with the obvious. The readings are Acts 2:42–47; Psalm 23; 1 Peter 2:19–25; and John 10:1–10.
