Family Service Sermon, The Rev. Matthew A. Welsch: "The Baptism of Jesus"

"Who in this room remembers their baptism? If you don't you're in good company." Since many of us were baptized as infants and thus have no memory of the event, Father Matt invites all of us, including our youngest parishioners this morning, to reflect on the meaning of the sacrament as members of this community and through participating in the baptism of others. “As members of this community we promise to care for each other like family and I think that that is why Jesus said it was so important for him to be baptized by his cousin John.” Watch his family-friendly reflection, here.
