100 Years of La Cumparsita

All are invited to a unique Tango concert will celebrate the Centennial of the world’s most famous Tango, “La Cumparsita,” written by Uruguayan composer Gerardo Matos Rodríguez.

The concert will feature bandoneon master, composer, and Latin Grammy winner Raúl Jaurena, young musicians from InterSchool Orchestras of New York (ISO), and guest conductor Martín García of National Symphony Orchestra of Uruguay.

Organized by the Consulate General of Uruguay in New York, the New York City concert with performance by the nonprofit InterSchool Orchestras of New York highlights the worldwide celebration of the Uruguayan Tango.

Free and open to all.
